Drowning Dog Saved With CPR

At the Davis Islands Dog Beach in Tampa a yellow Lab named Xena nearly drowned, luckily people who knew CPR happened to be in the right place  at the right time and saved her life.

Xena was playing wither ball and having fun however when the ball went into the water that’s when the trouble came. Onlookers noticed she hadn’t emerged from the water, pulled her our and immediately began giving her CPR.

A man performed mouth-to-snout while a woman gave her chest compression’s.  Fortunately, additional help was on the way and a rescue team swooped in, took over and managed to successfully take over and nurse Xena back to health.

If it hadn’t been for the bystanders Xena could of lost her life. They are true heroes!

Xena was taken to a local vet, and is reportedly doing well.
