Emergency Rescue services were called in after Bee, a beautiful labradoodle, fell down a sheer cliff face on the north of the Cornwall coast in England.
Bee had fallen 6m down the cliff before finding footing on a ledge yesterday evening. A worker from St Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue team was lowered down to the dog. After collecting her, they abseiled a further 20m down to the beach.
Bee was unhurt, though owner Rachel Budzinska said the experience was “very traumatic.”
Ms Budzinska said: “I couldn’t thank them enough” and that she would be “forever indebted” to St Agnes Coastguard Search and Rescue team.
According to the team member, Robert Farr, who rescued Bee, she had been “clinging on and yelping” and he had to “coax” her to trust him and enter a rescue bag, so they could safely get down to the beach and reunite her with her owner.
