Hope Balliet is an 11 year old girl on a mission, and that mission is to raise money for her local shelter.  She has started her own small business making one-of-a-kind, tie-dyed shoes.  She then uses the proceeds to make donations to her local shelter.

Hope sells her unique eye-catching shoes via her Facebook page, (which you can visit by clicking here), and the proceeds go to her aim of helping out as many animals as she can. Every penny she’s made on the deal has gone to donations.

“I go to the shelter about once a month to play with the dogs,” said Hope.  “I always want to take all of the dogs home when I go to the shelter, but I already have three dogs, so I decided to make the shoes to raise money to help.”

It’s hardly surprising  that Hope wishes to be a vet someday.  With her big heart and a massive determination to help animals them It seems like she’s on the right track, and how fitting also that her name is Hope, she gives hopes to all of us.
